Introduction
This is a documentary about a mother who has lived her 44 years of life as farmer's wife. Upon close inspection though, it is a narrative of a son, the film's director, about the physique of his sixty-something mother as its subject matter. As his narration progresses on after another, her naked body creates complete different emotional movements Close-up shots of her body, such as her bosoms, buttocks and stomach, and the voice that confronts these allow emotional energy to a mere, resting body. As mother's reminiscence switches from the moment of close-up angles to her physique in another space, it gets moved to a certain longing about her husband who passed away. In the process, the audiences spontaneously inherit such emotinal energy. (Jun Min-sung)
