Introduction
In both technique and style, Chinese animations have recently tended to imitate those of traditonal drawings. As black-and-white drawings are one of the examples, "The Puppet Shabow-Wol" imitates a shadow puppet show. It is based on a Chinese folklore about an old man who rescued a wounded wolf but got himself eaten by the wolf. "The Puppet Shadow-wolf" is demonstrating a new attempt to transform the old inheritance of the shodow puppet show into a new medium of an animation, The film gives an idea about the creating process and its trend of cultural products indise the border of China.
