Introduction
Nisinari Ward in Osaka, commonly known as Kamagasaki, is Japan’s largest town of day laborers. Many of them have come to Kamagasaki dissolving their relationships with hometown and family. Musubi is a group of old men, which performs picturestory at the little corner of the town.

Born in 1975. Yamasaki studied filmmaking at Visual Arts College in Osaka. While working for a TV Production company, she formed an independent filmmaking group called “Okoku,” with her friends, and has been directing and producing films on their own.
