Introduction
Exoticore starts out with a headline, 'To all exotic heroes in the universe.' it's a story of an immigrant from Africa living in Norway, which is famous for having one of the worlds most advanced welfare programs. He's living relatively comfortable life financially, working as a subway train operator. Yet, his everyday life is always solitude in nature, as dark as railway tunnels he faces daliy. Exposing the ignorance of WASP in Norway and their cold shoulders and attitudes towards minority, the film ends with a note that, the life of immigrants in advanced Western countries is nothing but a life of 'savage' as perceived by their people. He's all alone standing in a park under the light, yet the mask of 'savage' still remains on his face. (Lee U-me)
