Introduction
Along the unusually desolate street lined with tall white poplars, a boy and a girl are riding their bikes. Their conversation is about trifle but very important choices and crossroads in life. The only choice left to them, who are about to turn twenty, is either to stay or leave, or to unfold or fold. The gril decides to leave for the city and the boy decides to stay. Their picture taken together remains as the only point of contact where a mixture of their desires stand still. This film has the best casting, seemingly a copy of characters in the film "platform". Not only that, through the image of "road", a common symbol of drama of growth and road movie, this movie portrays the desire toward the futrue of adolescents who grow in the fringes of China.
